Safe Space Chats

Have you ever had deep questions you’ve not known who to ask about LGBTQ+ issues? Have you ever needed a little more explanation regarding a topic? Had questions you weren’t sure were okay to ask? Didn’t know where to even start asking questions you’ve had? Well then, these classes are for you!

These are independent classes for you to purchase to get your questions about a topic answered. These classes are small, safe spaces for you to bring your genuine questions and get an honest and supportive answer. Each class has a general topic, so pick the class with the closest topic to the one your question falls under. If you are unsure, please reach out to me to find the right class for you!

Dates offered: Sept 15, Oct 27

LGBTQ+ 101 - In this class we will cover the basics of the LGBTQ+ community. From what LGBTQ+ stands for all the way to what the community faces every day in the US and beyond. This class is for general LGBTQ+ questions.

Dates offered: Sept 22, Nov 3

Trans 101 - This class will cover the basics of the Trans movement, gender ideology, gender and sex differences, and so much more. This class is the first step in becoming more knowledgeable about transgender people in society today.

Dates offered: Sept 29, Nov 10

Anti LGBTQ+ legislation - This class will cover the more than 300 bills that were filed in the last year aimed at the LGBTQ+ community. Please feel free to come ask your questions about any of the bills facing the LGBTQ+ community.

Drag 101 - Drag Queens are currently in the forefront of everyone’s mind. This class will cover the history of Drag, drag queens and drag kings today, and what exactly is everyone upset about!

To purchase one of these stand alone classes, please make sure with your payment, you mark which date and which class you are signing up for. You will get an email to finish enrolling in the class of your choice once payment is received. Please only pick one date for each class you sign up for. If the date is listed, there is space in the class available.
